Winter Travel Insurance for Snowboarding (08/09 Rates)

These days, we all know that Travel insurance is an essential part of our holiday, but how many of us actually know that our cover is appropriate? Not all insurance cover is the same.

tagconnect recognise that many travellers are now choosing more adventurous winter holidays with the emphasis on snowboarding and have therefore worked closely with SCUK for over 4 years to design a specific winter sports policy. Our policy offers UNIQUE packages tailored to suit all snowboarder's needs. Peace of mind, should mean, peace of mind!

We provide the following cover as STANDARD on all Winter policies:

• Winters Sports cover
• Snowboard kit: Single item limit £800, total £1,500
• Off piste, Park, Indoor, Dryslope
• Personal Liability
• 31 days Winter Sports (Annual Multi Trip)

ALL "WINTER" Premiums/Rates include Winter Sports Cover Be warned! Many other insurance companies do not include this within advertised prices.

SPECIAL UPGRADES:

EXTRA RIDING DAYS

Annual Multi trip EXTRA (extend your standard 31 days winter sports cover in your Annual Multi Trip).

* these additional days can be broken down and spread over the whole year to give you a total of 62 days of wintersports cover.

The extra months must be used as a block and are ideal for those doing seasons. The standard 31 days cover is great for those riding throughout the summer.

COMPETITION COVER

For participation in amateur or professional competitions the additional premium's can be purchased: Longstay or Annual Policies will be charge at the following rates:

Single Trip Policies will be charged an additional 75% of the normal Single Trip rate and insure you for the full duration of the trip. e.g 10 day Europe Single Trip = £25 plus Competition insurance (75%) £18.75 = £43.75.

INSTRUCTOR COVER

Working abroad as a Snowboard Instructor has an additonal premium at the rate of 25% of the above will be charged (personal liability cover is excluded, as this should be covered by your employer).

Excess Waiver = £10 per person.

SCUK are constantly looking at ways to provide our members with as many benefits as possible and are pleased that we can now offer you a summer travel insurance policy. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SNOWBOARDING (YOU NEED THE WINTER RATES FURTHER UP).

When you receive your policy, please take the time to read it carefully to ensure you understand what is and what is not covered and that all activities that you may wish to participate in are included. If it does not meet your requirements, please return the policy, proof of premium and any other relevant documents to us within 14 days of receipt and we will refund the premium in full, provided you have not travelled or made a claim. Failure to comply with the terms & conditions of the policy may result in cover being restricted.
